The AC wasn't getting enough air because of the filter

Last week, I noticed that the AC in the house did not seem to be cooling very effectively.

Some spots in the house were chilly, while other areas seemed to be hotter than outdoors.

I had the AC thermostat set to 72 degrees, but the machine was struggling to keep the house cool. All day long while the sun was shining, the interior temperatures were closer to 75 degrees and the AC unit was running constantly. I thought there was a problem with the AC, so I decided to call the local repair service. My mom and dad always use the same repair service, so I called my mom to get the telephone number for that company. I knew they were reputable and cheap. my mom was happy to provide me with the telephone number. The AC repair service scheduled an appointment for me on the following day. I found out that the problem was due to a clogged intake air vents. The AC wasn’t getting enough air because of the filter. The air filter was really dingy and dirty. It was clogged with dust and dog hair. The technician suggested cleaning and servicing all of the ductwork and air vents in the house. It was going to be a huge amount of money, so I decided to wait until after tax season. I know that I will get a few dollars back from my taxes and I will use that money to pay for the ductwork cleaning service. Until then, I’m cleaning and dusting the house everyday so I don’t get another problem with buildup.
