Once the crew was finished, they did all the duct sealing so that problem is gone
I simply have to have a clean house. This is just an essential part of having any sort of reasonable chance at happiness for me. That may seem sort of strange. But mess and disorganization really cause me to spin out. I love to come home to a well HVAC maintained home that is in order. But as a busy working mom of three, I can’t do it by myself. Thankfully, my husband is much like me when it comes to cleanliness. So taking care of the house is a bit of a family affair really. But I just learned that I have been neglecting a most important aspect of my house when it comes to cleaning. I never thought about the HVAC and the ductwork. It just didn’t enter my mind. But once I started to witness dust and stuff floating down from the heating and cooling vents, I knew I had to get the air ducts cleaned. Fortunately for me, the HVAC company I use has a sister company that does nothing but ductwork cleaning and duct sealing. That made it so much easier. What wasn’t so easy was seeing the amount of debris that came out of the ductwork. The ductwork cleaning crew brought out bags and bags of debris. Apparently, one of the ducts had a bad gap in it which allowed for all sorts of stuff to fall inside and be pushed around the ducts. Once the crew was finished, they did all the duct sealing so that problem is gone. Plus, we can expect to enjoy much more HVAC efficiency with the duct sealing as well. That should save us some money on our heating and cooling utility bill.
