Can't get a smart thermostat

It did not matter what setting I chose, I was constantly either too hot or too cold, or somehow too hot and frosty at the same time! I think fevers can particularly mess with your sense of how you perceive rapidly changing temperatures

I found myself experiencing a different sensation last night. I was feeling a little unwell by the time I was ready for bed, although I figured sleeping was just what I needed to help me with whatever ailment was developing. About three hours after falling asleep, I woke up in a frosty sweat. Normally, I cherish a nice, cool temperature on the control unit, particularly in the night. I like to keep the control unit at 65° at night because it helps me sleep particularly well. However, on this particular night I was shivering, and despite the fact that I was shivering, I was also perspiring. It was quite an uncomfortable sensation. When I got up to go to the lavatory, I was not easily steady on my feet and I was a little dizzy. I realized that I had a fever, and because I was frosty and perspiring at the same time, I wasn’t sure what to do. At first, I did not adjust the temperature on the control unit, I simply pulled my covers closer and tried to nestle myself into them a little more comfortably. This easily made me sweat even more, long story short, I ended up trying several settings on the control unit throughout the night. It did not matter what setting I chose, I was constantly either too hot or too cold, or somehow too hot and frosty at the same time! I think fevers can particularly mess with your sense of how you perceive rapidly changing temperatures. Needless to say, I did not get a wonderful night’s rest and so I decided to call in sick to work since the fever wasn’t getting any better.
