My wife and I were so proud of his accomplishment and we decided to throw a huge party to celebrate his graduation.
We invited 50 friends and family members to attend the celebration and our home. We cleaned the pool and the backyard and ordered steaks from the butcher. We decided to have the carpets in the house professionally cleaned before the party. The carpet looked dingy and dirty. My wife and I were living in the house for 3 years and we never bothered to have a professional come steam clean the carpet. We found a cheap carpet cleaning service on Facebook Marketplace. They offered to clean all of the rooms for $15 each. My wife and I were excited to find such a reasonable and affordable carpet cleaning company. Unfortunately, we didn’t get much for the money that we paid. The carpet cleaning technician was only in each room for a few minutes and it looked like he barely touched the floor with water. Even though we could see lines in the carpet, there were still several areas where there was visible dirt in the fibers. My wife and I were terribly unsatisfied with the carpet cleaning service and we called the company to complain. They quickly informed my wife and I that we did not pay for a deep clean service, which would have been much more expensive. They did not offer to refund our money or clean the carpets again. We had to hire a totally different company and pay for a new cleaning service.
