I have been a property owner for nearly twenty years now, and during that time I have dealt with a lot of tenants! I can say without question that over 90% of them have been fantastic, respectful, and responsible, then that being said, there are some select few that simply don’t know how to act like a responsible adult. Just the other day I was forced to evict someone out of my house, as they trashed the place very bad. He called me complaining about problems with the air conditioner, however, once I showed up to see the component myself, he put on an act like nothing of such sort happened before. By the look of the HVAC unit, the damaged looked like a human error. However, from what I could understand after diagnosing the component that water had been poured inside it, and it took a hit from a heavy object. The component was in bad shape, but the thing that shocked me the most was how dirty the kitchen and dining room looked. Though the place is a few years old, the debris everywhere made it look like 50. Hopefully, this person will find a good place soon before I hand over the eviction notice. If he doesn’t change his habits soon, he might have to end up living in his car.
