Fiddling with the Heating plus A/C

I ponder about everyone’s addiction to technology these days.

Is it actually a healthy thing that we are always making something new? Sometimes it seems appreciate people are getting too enthusiastic about buying all the new gadgets before they actually have an occasion to experience them.

It’s a FOMO trap that costs pretty much everyone a lot of time and money. This has recently been our personal experience, too. I thought I was doing a wonderful deed for our heating, cooling, and ventilation idea when I bought a smart temperature control machine that is intended to manage our indoor heating, cooling, and ventilation system. Now, there’s nothing wrong with my current Heating plus A/C – actually, the forced air gas furnace and air conditioner machines have worked just fine. But, our central heating and cooling control plan has been using a well-aged control machine since I got the house. The plastic temperature control machine never allowed for making swings in temperature management separate from manually turning the dial. I also hated that our monthly energy bills were severely high from running the indoor air temperature control plan multiple days in a row with no one home. I wanted to be able to change our indoor air temperature and indoor air quality from anywhere, and that’s when I had a smart control machine installed. The outcomes have been… mixed. The app that is supposed to control our new control machine doesn’t do a thing. No matter which air temperature programs I use on the control machine application, I typically end up decreasing the temperature over and over again from our cellphone. It’s so easy to make modifications that I can’t stop myself. And, as a result, our monthly energy bills have really increased.
