I got a different job, and he became an HVAC technician.
I love paying the HVAC technician to fix my HVAC units. For most people, having to pay an HVAC technician to fix their HVAC unit can definitely break the bank, but in my experience, paying the HVAC technician is actually quite affordable. However, that is only because I am close friends with the owner of the HVAC company. The owner of the HVAC company and I have been close friends ever since we were kids, and he always fixes my HVAC units at cost only. Sure, I help work on stuff for him at cost only, and we have been able to benefit from our friendship. I almost became an HVAC technician just like him. When we were kids, we were determined to have the same job and to do the same thing, and that is what I thought that I would be doing for my entire life. However, I quickly realized in high school that I did not want to be an HVAC technician, but he wanted to be an HVAC technician still. I did not mind. He had dreams of owning his own HVAC company anyway, so eventually, we would be competitors in the HVAC world. I got a different job, and he became an HVAC technician. When I finally talked to him way later after not talking for a while, I learned that he did become an HVAC technician, and he even owned his own HVAC company. At this point, I ran my own computer store, and we have been working with each other ever since. Now, as long as I help with their computers, they fix my HVAC units for just the cost of parts. It works out very well!
