As the Springtime rebirth continues, I’m sort of wishing the winter time wasn’t over. I cherish it here in the Winter, however there is really little demand for actual heating. The heat pump stays mostly silent and we use a small furnace if needed, but that’s so precious that my buddy and I have to turn on the other space heater. The winter time here is full of sunshine, clear skies and really mild hot and cold temperatures, and this is the one part of the year when you don’t hear a chorus of heat pumps trying to supply all the air conditioning my buddy and I demand. So we’re now into March and I just heard the heat pump next door crank up while in the daytime heat. It was just not quite 72 degrees but the neighbors fully went for it with the air conditioning, but I also sort of got it. I cherish air conditioning too, and I don’t like it when I have to be somewhere down here that doesn’t have nice residential Heating and Air Conditioning, or commercial Heating and Air Conditioning for that matter. One place that I really won’t be this Springtime and Summer is the gym, as I gave up on the gym because it was just so overheated in there. So I let my gym membership lapse and called the Heating and Air Conditioning dealer. I still needed to be working out, but I also needed to be working out inside the cooling comfort of some air conditioning. They installed a ductless heat pump in a spare room that now has become my apartment gym.
