I find myself almost immediately drawn to any sort of new technology. And that goes for Heating and Air Conditioning technology as well, and when my buddy and I bought the apartment we’re in now I replaced the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment with the latest in residential Heating and Air Conditioning. But I just missed adding smart Heating and Air Conditioning technology to that Heating and Air Conditioning upgrade. My nice friend and I finished replacing the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment about 12 months before the first generation of smart thermostat was on the market. So I’ve been sort of salivating over adding smart Heating and Air Conditioning technology to the apartment ever since. However, I’m also all about getting the most out of what I own, and that went for the digital thermostat as well. Of course, I had learned all about just how to program the digital thermostat and that helped a lot. My nice friend and I live in a region that demands plenty of cooling comfort, so there is constantly the occasion that I could be over cooling the home. But by programming the digital thermostat, I was able to keep a satisfactory thermostat setting while in the heat of the day, and that saved some currency and I appreciated that for sure, but it wasn’t a smart thermostat. So I have to say that I was particularly pleased when the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier told me that I would need to replace the ancient thermostat. Now, I’m enjoying that smart thermostat technology that I’ve wanted for years, and the smart thermostat app is amazing all by itself. I can’t believe that I can operate my Heating and Air Conditioning equipment remotely from my iPhone, it’s just that easy. The smart thermostat is also doing an amazing task of controlling the air conditioning, so we’re saving almost 23 percent more on utility costs.
