Buying a house was something that my wife and I had wanted to do for a really long time.
The really system of not having to deal with neighbors on all sides, bad heating and cooling and cramped quarters was super appealing.
Yet, the reality of really getting out of house life was much tougher than the two of us expected when the two of us were married. Both of us just figured we’d simply pool our money and that would be that. We’d get our own location with quality heating and air. Every one of us finally did get there but it was a more circuitous route than either of us expected. Just saving up for the downpayment was a pretty large deal. The prices of homes just skyrocketed and the more the two of us saved, the more it seemed the two of us needed. This went on for a number of years while the price of homes just kept rising. Finally, the two of us found the location that fit us so well, was in a good part of neighborhood and was affordable for us. There were things that the house needed and the two of us were willing to deal with that. But the heating and cooling component was not reasonable. It was a central air conditioner but it was just so outdated that I wasn’t so sure that there would be any heating and cooling. But the seller wouldn’t replace it. Every one of us got all the way to closing and he still refused so the two of us walked away. Every one of us did and that’s how the two of us got the best residential Heating, Ventilation, and A/C out there.
