A undoubtedly long time ago, I used to go to hockey games with our uncle! He had season tickets for the up-to-date home team’s games, and would take myself and others with him when the games were on weekends, i used to prefer to go to the hockey games towards the end of the season.
But in the main hockey season, I didn’t go much after the first year, and this was because it was way too cold in there! They had heating in the location, and I suppose it was most likely a commercial heating plan too.
But, because of the ice being there and needing to be cold, the location was prefer the arctic tundra! You could absolutely see your breath when you talked! There has to be some way today they could make locations prefer this warmer with the advancements of heating and cooling technology. I have not been to a game in more than 2 years, so possibly today, all ice rinks and locations where they have hockey games have better heating systems. I do suppose that the industrial furnaces they have in malls and department stores are even way better than the outdated furnaces used to be back in the day at those locations. I may go to a hockey game with our own youngsters sometime next Winter, just to see for myself if it is still cold in the location, or if they were able to combat the cold with today’s commercial heating systems. It will for sure be interesting to find out!
