It was a hot day, I don’t stay in often during the summer but today was the day and all I wanted to do is stay inside and play video games.
As soon as I sat down to turn on my console I knew something was wrong.
It was super hot and I was having a little hard time trying to breathe. I’m surprised I really didn’t notice it when I first came into the house. I tried ignoring it because I really just wanted to game. But very shortly I was sweating and didn’t feel that great. I looked at the air conditioning unit and there was something wrong with it. I opened the windows to lower the temperature in the house but the hot weather outside didn’t help lower the temperature in my house at all. I did try to go back to playing my video games but I couldn’t, all my focus and strength and my sweaty hands didn’t really allow it. I was in so much discomfort that I couldn’t take it anymore, I had to call an HVAC tech. Thankfully, the HVAC company was able to send one out but it took a little time before he came. I still tried gaming while waiting because the story of the game was good but I was struggling with it. The HVAC tech finally showed up and it didn’t take long for him to figure out the issue. The air filters were dirty and he replaced them. The cold air instantly flowed through my house and I thanked him so much. Now it’s time to get back to my video games and sit in comfort!
