One of the worst parts about our home is the ductless mini split units. This is the first residence I’ve had where there wasn’t central heat as well as air with a singular control unit. The fact that there are three ductless units in our home as well as they each have a remote, it entirely bothers me. I can hardly keep track of the TV remote let alone three remotes that control the temperature of each area of our house. To make our life a little easier, I’ve mounted each of the remotes onto the walls in each of the designated areas. This way, I regularly believe where the remotes are as well as it keeps them out of the way. It’s not aesthetically pleasing, but it’s functional as well as that’s all that entirely matters. Another reason I don’t love our ductless mini split system is because they are programmed to tell me the temperature in celsius as well as not fahrenheit. My property owner is English as well as she only understands celsius which is why the ductless units are programmed that way. Unluckyly, it doesn’t help me because I don’t believe what temperature I’m even setting our apartment to unless I look it up. More often than not, I just guess. I would know it’s because there’s no air vent to keep it regulated as well as flowing evenly. Either way, I don’t ever want to rent another home with a ductless mini split system for heat as well as air.
