Several weeks ago, I entered this raffle at a Summer festival that I was attending; I hardly ever buy tickets for anything like contests or rafles because I never manage to win anything at all.
I don’t think I’ve ever won a single thing in my entire life, and that’s sad! I decided to give it one last try earlier this Summer when I went to this Summer festival thing, but there weren’t very many people there and I was walking around looking at everything.
I saw this tent that was set up under some trees and it was a local heating and a/c company. They were just trying to drum up some business and get their name out in the community. They had a little raffle that you could enter to win a new central air conditioner and I thought I might as well go ahead and do it since there weren’t very many people there that afternoon. I know the fact that I was one of the only people who entered really helped with my chances, because I won the HVAC company’s raffle! When they called to tell me that I had won a brand new central air conditioner for my house, I nearly passed out. I couldn’t believe the fact that I had actually won something, but not to mention the fact that it was something that I needed. I have been meaning to replace my central air conditioning system for years, but I just never got around to doing it. Now, I’m going to get a new air conditioning system unit installed in the house completely for free!
