I had to hire out for cleaning

I stress about cleanliness and organization.

I put that thought above just about everything else.

I’m this way at the office and I am the same way when it comes to a clean home. However, being a single mother with a full time, stressful career makes it strenuous to keep a house cleaned and organized. Also, at the office, all of us have a commercial cleaning repair who shows up every night. They do the janitorial services like carpet cleaning plus getting rid of the trash. They do a great job and it made me want the same for my own house. I want everything to be fixed up for the day plus smelling clean. I just don’t have time to do that, and my schedule is so aggravating that I have to count on doing the house cleaning on the weekends or dumping it on the boys. Neither of which is a great thought. I rush through the job plus the boys miss things like mold on the ceiling or dust in the corners. However, I hesitated at hiring a maid service as it felt sort of bizarre to have someone else cleaning our house. It was like I was a rich woman or a lazy gal. However, the reality was that the house was just not getting a great clean. I couldn’t handle the tasks. The costs were small too. I was surprised that getting a cleaning crew once a month didn’t break the bank. I also had more time to spend with my sons now that the house is put back in order. If anything, I am more motivated rather than lazy with a clean house.
