HVAC systems cost in excess of 10 grand to replace and I didn’t have that kind of money to help my brother out
I was feeling very bad for my brother Kevin as of late. He’s going through a really rough time in his life. Both his job and is marriage has been on the rocks for the past year or so. Then, his wife finally filed for divorce. I talked to him about his situation a month back and it turned out that he was behind on his car payments among other financial issues. I wanted to help my brother Kevin because I knew that if I was in similar circumstances he would do the same for me. I paid his car bill so that he was up to date on his payments and I even made a couple advanced payments to keep him square for a while. Then, I discovered that his HVAC system was on the fritz and he did not have the money to spend to fix it. I paid for him to get an HVAC technician out there to give it a look. Unfortunately, the news was bad. The HVAC technician said that the system was on its way out because it was getting too old and it was leaking refrigerant. HVAC systems cost in excess of 10 grand to replace and I didn’t have that kind of money to help my brother out. I decided I would have to buy him a window air conditioner system to install in his bedroom for the time being. We also bought ceiling fans for a couple other rooms of his house to help circulate air and keep things cool. My brother really is trying his best to recover from these rough times and I will continue to assist him!
