I didn’t want to let bad air quality keep me and from achieving my goals in education
I loved college, but if I had to point out something to not write home about, the classrooms had pretty bad air quality. This is one of the first things I talked to my teachers about. They agreed with me that something had to be done. They did tell me that it would be something I’d have to do on my own because it was out of their hands. I would bring up the subject from time to time until eventually I found that I was talking to the Dean about the issue. When I was telling him how I had a mild dust sensitivity, he decided he would look into having a regular air purification method installed. I suggested that the ducts get worked on and to make sure the air filters were being switched out properly. The Heating & Air Conditioning system finally got worked on properly, and the staff at school praised me for speaking up. I didn’t want to let bad air quality keep me and from achieving my goals in education. One of my peers told me that I should become a Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman because of how much I know about the heating and cooling equipment.
