I ended up making a fair amount of money off that property
The very idea that I would be given the work that I just accepted was not at all on my radar. In fact, I was just blissful with the fact that I finally was able to get to the zone controlled Heating plus A/C of the corporate offices. That was an immense step for me plus for my job. But, I had moved around a good amount plus done whatever the contractor needed from me for a dozen years to get to that zone controlled Heating plus A/C. So when I was called into the immense boss’s office, I figured it was pretty much about the project I was wrapping up. That wasn’t the case at all. I had been inside this office only on one other occasion. And I was so upset that I easily didn’t pay attention to what an incredible office it happened to be. There were floor to ceiling windows that provided a lovely view of the city. It was appealingly appointed plus even had its own thermostat. The boss was able to get to the point plus wanted me to head up a regional office that had been flailing for some time. It was definitely something that I was up to. But that meant selling the property that I had just renovated. The current Heating plus A/C equipment wasn’t very old. This was not easily a request that I could refuse. Had I said no, it’s not quite like I would be fired but that would be the end of any sort of upward job trajectory as well. But it’s a fine thing the current Heating plus A/C equipment was the latest in residential Heating plus A/C. I ended up making a fair amount of money off that property. While I will miss that state of the art residential Heating plus A/C plus that property, there will be others.
