I consider myself to be a fairly clean guy. I do my best to make sure that my home and my motorcar, and virtually everything that belongs to me, is kept spotlessly clean. That’s why I wasn’t delighted at all when a rather unpleasant smell began emanating from my air vents, which had the vague smell of mold and mildew. I was quite upset, because again I do everything in my power to make sure that the mold and mildew never have the opportunity to grow or spread in my home. It turns out that I needed a bit of an enlightenment when it comes to heating and cooling systems and HVAC duct and air vents. Sure, I have been getting my home cleaned from top to bottom, although I never particularly called out a heating and Air Conditioning professional to thoroughly clean out my heating and cooling system and the duct work. As a result, funky smells started to develop inside the system. I found out that this was because of a leak within the system and it was because the HVAC ductwork hadn’t been cleaned out for a particularly long time. Needless to say, I remedied that situation quickly and called out a licensed Heating and Air Conditioning professional to take care of the task! He was able to schedule maintenance work and he was also able to schedule a cleaning of the HVAC duct, and of course he fixed the leak! Now I can breathe fresh air within my home, which is something I’m passionate about indeed!
