This might sound a little bit crazy, however I decided to glue our smart temperature control to the wall.
This was because our kids kept messing with the smart temperature control pulling it off the wall plus plugging it back in.
I kept yelling at them not to touch the smart temperature control, but they wouldn’t listen. Eventually, they ended up breaking the base of the smart temperature control that holds the equipment in place. I didn’t guess what to do so I decided to get some gorilla glue plus glue it to the wall. It’s clogged in securely now plus you can’t even pull it from the wall. This definitely was a foolish move because if it ever breaks, how am I going to upgrade it? In the meantime, it’s working just fine. My buddies said I should have called an Heating plus Air Conditioning worker to come upgrade the base of the smart temperature control, but no, I had to do things our way. It’s at least working just fine, I just need to make sure the kids don’t end up breaking the actual smart temperature control. I genuinely hope it lasts myself and others forever because I don’t look forward to replacing it. Thermostats tend to last for a actually long time anyway, so long as kids are not messing around with them! I guess I might have to put a lock cage around our temperature control so the kids can’t mess with it any longer. Then that smart temperature control will last a long time plus I can regularly just adjust the temperature control settings with our phone. I guess I’m going to have to do that just to make sure it remains safe for a long period of time.
