I needed plenty of gasoline to make money when I was young

When I would be out there freezing, they would let me in to enjoy hot cocoa and relax next to the fireplace

It’s weird but I always liked the smell of gasoline since I was a child. This is mainly because it was my primary source of income! I actually would go door to door and pick up customers for my lawn mowing services. I would mow all the lawns in the neighborhood, at least as many as I could! The thing is, I just had to make sure to have enough gasoline to do all this work regularly. On some of the hotter days, I was thankful when neighbors would invite me inside to cool off with their climate control systems and ice-cold lemonade. There was nothing better than enjoying some fresh lemonade and relaxing next to one of the HVAC vents to feel the A/C. A lot of neighbors would do that for me and I was always thankful. A lot of the neighbors were also very generous with the amount of money they would pay me for the yard work I would do. When I got a little bit older, I even graduated from using snow shovels to using a nice snow blower to help neighbors with all the snow! It was all about the gasoline because you definitely need it to get the work done. When I would be out there freezing, they would let me in to enjoy hot cocoa and relax next to the fireplace. I loved that a lot of my neighbors had fireplaces that they used regularly, it was perfect for warming up. We actually had a boiler system in our home, so I always looked forward to getting back home also!
