Several weeks ago, I entered this raffle at a Summer festival that I was attending.
I hardly ever buy tickets for anything like contests or rafles because I never manage to win anything at all.
I don’t know if I’ve ever won a single thing in my entire life, and that’s sad! I decided to try it one last time earlier this Summer when I went to this Summer festival thing. There weren’t many people there and I was walking around looking at everything. I saw this tent that was set up under some trees and it was a local HVAC business. They were just trying to drum up some business and get their name out in the community. They had a little raffle that you could enter to win a new central air conditioning unit and I thought I might as well go ahead and do it since there weren’t many people there that day. I think the fact that I was one of the only people who entered actually helped with my chances, because I won the HVAC businesses raffle! When they called to tell me that I had won a brand new central air conditioning unit for my house, I nearly passed out. I couldn’t believe the fact that I had actually won something! Not to mention the fact that it was something that I needed. I have been meaning to update my central air conditioning for years, even though I just never actually got around to doing it. Now, I’m going to get a new cooling system installed in the house completely for free!
