Right now I’m using my savings account to get a boiler heating system to replace my fan forced furnace
I like when I get new things for the house. I have to go long stretches of time without spending too much money. I have to make really strict budgets and stick to them every week or I can’t put money in my savings account. My parents taught me at several stages of my life the importance of having a savings account at all times. One time they had to do a sudden roof replacement after an inspection revealed lots of damage to the existing one. If they hadn’t had their savings account at the time, they wouldn’t have been able to pay for the roof replacement. There was another instance in my life where they’re air conditioner suddenly stopped working one day. Since the air conditioner was already 16 years old at that point, it was no longer under warranty. If we wanted air conditioning that summer, they would have needed the money on hand to be able to replace the air conditioner since it wasn’t fixable. Lucky for all of us, my parents had the money to replace the air conditioner sitting in their savings account. Right now I’m using my savings account to get a boiler heating system to replace my fan forced furnace. Using an electric furnace and relying on air is not the most efficient way to heat your home. That’s why I’m excited to be getting a boiler heating system for the first time in my life. I’m hoping it will utilize less energy to heat my home to the same temperatures as the electric furnace.
