I have a friend who is an accomplished artist and songwriter. He just released his fifth album and he had a listening party before the release. A few people were invited to the listening party which was held at one of the city concert halls. The party had at least 50 people and the concert hall was not as big, it could probably hold up to 200 people. I was backstage since I needed to make sure everything fell into place as I was tasked with the responsibility of making sure everything was okay on the ground. This meant that I needed to ensure that the HVAC unit was functioning well. There was a programmable thermostat that I was in charge of. I would regularly adjust the temperatures depending on the atmosphere within the hall. That day the unit worked well because we had done the HVAC maintenance a week prior. The building management had allowed me to supervise the entire HVAC service plan. The technicians had changed the HEPA filter to enhance the function of the unit and improve the circulation of clean and fresh air. They also checked the duct sealing and we confirmed it was properly intact. The city concert hall had purchased the unit from the commercial HVAC provider who had also provided a serviceman to handle the cooling install. The unit was a fairly new HVAC as it was just 2 years old. I noticed that the home services of commercial and residential HVAC were similar. Most of the buildings within the concert hall grounds had new HVAC systems as the management had decided to replace all units. The climate controls were also upgraded. Every building had a temperature control device that would be voice-controlled. Everyone enjoyed the party as well as the new album.
