It’s pretty cool to be able to look after my wife.
I’m very grateful that the company is allowing me to work from the central air conditioning of home while my wife is mending.
I guess that this is happening because of how well it went when I was working from my own air conditioning during the pandemic. I was surprised at just how well I was able to do my work outside of the zone controlled HVAC of the office. So when my wife was involved in a serious biking accident, I had a track record of performing from home inside my own air conditioning. My wife is healing but she is still far from being able to do things on her own. And we also have doctor and physical therapy appointments to get her too as well. So me having control over my schedule while working from home has been a giant blessing. But the new HVAC technology is also pitching in as well. When we bought this house a few years ago, it was with the plan that we’d start a family here. So we wanted the best residential HVAC we could get. And that came with all the HVAC technology as well. So the smart thermostat has been invaluable for my wife. She’s able to use the smart thermostat app to adjust the thermostat manually. Her body is always in a state of flux when it comes to small changes in the heating and cooling. And at least, this is something that she can do for herself.
