My partner of thirteen years, Jack, is an Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman, and he usually enjoys his job and all of the other guys that he works with, then the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier that he works for is a entirely good guy and the company is family owned! It’s been open for several generations now and they have a ton of repeat shoppers that Jack gets to deal with.
He says that he entirely prefers most of his shoppers, even though most of them aren’t ever all that interested in current Heating and Air Conditioning technology, but most of the people that he ends up doing heating and cooling work for are from the older crowd, which is just good with Jack.
He typically says that he would much rather work on an aged university gas furnace or electric furnace than on something enjoy a newer heat pump. He says that doing air conditioner maintenance or furnace maintenance on older models of Heating and Air Conditioning equipment is typically much easier to figure out than the newer stuff is. I know that’s genuinely because most things now are way more laptopized than mechanical, jack is entirely good at figuring out mechanical complications but he’s not so good at figuring out laptop stuff at all. I appreciate the way that he does try to learn about current Heating and Air Conditioning technology, though. He’s typically learning up on it and taking continuing education classes so that he can be at the top of his game when it comes to his job. That’s genuinely why he’s such a good Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman and employee. He never wants to stop learning current things.
