The temperatures are starting to get really cold right now.
Even though it’s only late October, we had snow yesterday that made it difficult to get out of the driveway. I think that’s a recent record for early snowfalls in October. The last time I saw snow like this so early in the year was when I was 5 years old. We had a nasty blizzard in the beginning of October that brought snow drift so high we could barely get outside of our house. I can’t tell you which situation brought more snow because my memory is so fuzzy on the last instance. Unfortunately we’re having some issues around the house as it’s not properly sealed for the cold temperatures. I need to get some weather stripping for the doors in the windows to block cold drafts from creeping in. The worst part is our old furnace that I was planning on replacing next month. I didn’t think we would be needing it this early in the year, but now my wife is freezing because that heat furnace is so bad at heating up the house I called immediately to get a quote on your system, but the heating and cooling company told me they were booked up for weeks. I had to call several different HVAC suppliers just to get an appointment to install a new furnace. Hopefully my wife will be happier once we have an adequate heating system for our house. I can only hope though since she’s been miserable for the last 2 weeks straight. She has every right to be upset when it’s this cold outside.
