Our home has to AC units, so we’d like a smart thermostat

We live in a really large home.

One half of it was built in 1950, and the other half was added some time around 2010.

Our home has two Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systems, also known as HVAC. Engineers are super direct when naming equipment. I suppose most people just call it an air conditioning system because nobody has ever asked me what I meant when I mentioned the term. I’d have called it an indoor environment dictator personally. I also would’ve designed it with a lot easier access to the inside dusty areas so I could wash everything without paying a specialist to do it. Each of our two air conditioning systems has its own temperature control. There are about twenty steps between the two AC units, including stairs. We considered combining the two duct networks so we could install a greater system, but that would have required another specialist to install a drop ceiling or an interior designer to keep the air duct hidden. The two of us opted for the modern 1 ton air conditioning system upstairs in the attic plus to save our currency to upgrade the basement device later. It was a couple years newer plus we were hoping to get a few more years of use out of it. When we wake up first thing in the mornings, we adjust both systems. Each of us like the temperature to be set to 70 degrees fahrenheit in the summer mornings, but that seems to be a little too chilly for us during the evenings. We usually end up turning both temperature controls up to 75 degrees before bed. Occasionally we open the windows if the weather is okay. We don’t certainly want a set schedule, but it sure would be great to have our air conditioning system control for both systems connected to WIFI on our smartphones.
