As I have been getting older, it seems that my internal thermostat has been changing dramatically.
I used to love using the air conditioner in my beach house all the time.
I would blast the cooling system 24/7, but these days that has changed, and now I typically think I am freezing all the time, but even during the scorching hot days in the summer, I am genuinely great! Periodically I am cold still and need to have the furnace on during the moderate weather which my family members guess is totally weird. It’s different to me too, but at least I am saving a ton of money without using the cooling system nearly as in the past; My grandson did the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me, he paid for the installation of radiant heated floors in my beach home. I know this was unquestionably overpriced, although he just said to remember him when I was writing up my will, however he was just joking. But surely he deserves to have something nice after I pass away. Now that I have radiant heated floors, everything has changed. I am so much more comfortable with that constant heating radiating from the floors. I find that when my feet are nice and warm, my whole body feels so much warmer and more comfortable too, the air quality is unaffected by the system of HVAC duct since the heating isn’t blowing around like regular. Also, the heating is totally silent and I am not bothered by crazy noises coming from the Heating and Air Conditioning system. I love these radiant heated floors a lot.
