Removing window air conditioner prematurely

When the temperature started to cool off in early November, I decided to remodel our living room.

I was distraught to tear out the old rug install brick and tile.

I replaced the windows plus all of the interior light fixtures plus painted. Since I hadn’t needed our window air conditioner in a few days, I figured it would be the right time to lug it up to the attic for storage. I didn’t want the cooling unit to get dirty from all the dust and dander I was creating. Within a week, the outside temperature shot back up into the 90s again. Suddenly, our living room felt overheated plus sticky… Even with the windows wide open, it was legitimately unpleasant really working in the living room. I was reluctant to lug the air conditioner back down from the attic. I kept expecting the weather to cool off again. By the time I was finished with everything, cleaned up plus moved back into our living room, it was the middle of the month. I laid in bed, sweated plus wished for our window air conditioner. I finally gave in plus mounted the cooling unit back into the window. It took me less than twenty minutes, plus it was such a relief. I sleep so much better with the sound of it plus cool temperatures. I’m so ecstatic I made that trip back up into the attic because it’s now the end part of November, plus I’m still running the air conditioner at night. I am suspicious that the cold weather will be arriving quite abruptly. I’ll entirely go from running the air conditioner to starting up the gas and oil furnace.
