They knew I was on the way to repair the AC, so I don’t understand why they weren’t ready when I arrived
My boss sent me over to the campground yesterday, so I could work on a repair. The campground was having trouble with the air conditioner in the bathroom. I don’t usually handle commercial repairs, so I was particularly surprised that my boss chose me for that job. When I realized that the campground was right around the corner from my home, I knew why my boss scheduled me to complete the job. When I left the warehouse to complete the campground AC repair, my boss told me it was the last job for the day. I could go home as soon as the AC repair was completed and that made me especially happy. My girlfriend and I had a date scheduled for that evening. Since I was going to get done with work early, I knew I would have plenty of time to go to the florist and buy a nice bouquet of flowers. Unfortunately, the AC repair was much more difficult than I originally anticipated. I had to climb on top of the building to access the AC machine. It took 30 minutes for the campground staff to find a ladder. They knew I was on the way to repair the AC, so I don’t understand why they weren’t ready when I arrived. I hoped the repair would be complete in a short amount of time, but I didn’t finish with the AC repair until it was the end of the day. I didn’t get to leave early and I didn’t have time to buy flowers for my girlfriend.
