The doctor didn’t like my portable air conditioner

After settling down in my new apartment, I quickly realized that the summer heat would be unbearable.

There was no central air conditioning in my home, so I purchased a portable air conditioner instead.

After several visits to the doctor because of not feeling well, the doctor asked if there was something different in my life. I told him that I just moved into a new place. He asked if there were any differences in the air quality or maybe mold in the house. I told him no mold but the only thing is that there is no central air conditioning so I had to buy a portable air conditioner. He asked if I had it cleaned out because bacteria can be formed due to dirty air filters. I didn’t know this at all and I wondered if this was the issue all along. Technically, I did buy my portable air conditioner from a private seller and I’m sure it was just collecting dust before I got it from him. So I went home and looked at it and sure enough, the air filters were gross. The doctor was right and I knew what I had to do. It was cleaning time because I’m sick and tired of being sick. After a thorough cleaning of the portable air conditioner, I turned it on and I was pretty tired, so I went to bed. The next morning I felt a bit better and the cool air from the portable air conditioner didn’t bother me one bit. I guess going forward I should check on these air filters, probably once a week for now so I don’t get sick again.
