The eight different types of HVAC systems

If you ever think to yourself that you know everything, then you need to check yourself, because there’s a lot that you don’t know.

We are always in the process of discovering something new that we never ever considered before.

There’s an old saying that goes, you learn something new everyday, and I couldn’t agree with it more. My friend sent me a video of a man picking up a possum, but the article said the animal was an opossum. My buddy said that it is called an opossum, and I was baffled, because I had always used the spelling “possum”. We are living in an age in which we have so much information directly at our fingertips, but we don’t think to search for the kinds of things that could be very fascinating and helpful. For instance, recently, my mom was trying to find the best cooling system for her basement and she asked me to research what might be the best option. In my research, I discovered that there are eight different types of heating and air conditioning units. Up until that point, I believed that there were only four types of heating and air conditioning units. I thought there was central HVAC, window HVAC, portable HVAC, and ductless mini-split HVAC systems. It turns out that there are four more kinds of HVAC systems that I had never heard of until I did the research. They include smart HVAC systems, hybrid or dual fuel systems, geothermal systems, and floor-mounted systems. These seem to be specialty units that I really hadn’t heard of before!
