My house was built in 1995 and it’s easy to see the age of the house when you look at the tile and grout.
The tile and grout in both bathrooms are as old as the house.
The tile used to be porcelain white, but now it looks like a dingy yellow or brown color. Even the grout is discolored from too much use over time. I was beginning to think there was no way to make the place sparkle again, and then a co-worker recommended a cleaning service. She told me that they cleaned the tile and grout in her home and the results were amazing and even unbelievable. She said the place looked brand-new again. I decided to call the grout and tile cleaning service over the weekend. I scheduled an appointment for next weekend. I’m not sure they will be able to make the tile and grout look new again, but I’m willing to give them a chance. If it doesn’t look better, I don’t have to pay for the service so there’s nothing to lose. The company also cleans carpets. If they do make the tile look great, I’m definitely going to hire them to clean all of the carpets downstairs. They haven’t been professionally steam cleaned in ten years.I’ve been contemplating buying new carpet or even hardwood, but maybe the cleaning service can restore the old fibers.
