Living in the neighborhood was starting to get to me, it had been more than one decades of downtown apartment life for me since I left college for this task, don’t get me wrong, I’m right where I want to be career wise.
- I’m doing what I want to do & making a particularly nice living, and additionally, I’m now on the upper floors where I have floor to ceiling windows & a remarkable view of the city.
Every one of us even have zone controlled Heating & A/C in this office so I have a control equipment just inside the door… There are evenings where our spouse will come up to our office & we’ll open some wine & just watch the neighborhood below. It’s quite a life & I enjoy our apartment as well. It has central a/c, plenty of space & all the amenities; But what it doesn’t have is open, orange space with quiet serenity for miles. That’s what I was in need of. This is the way I grew up, then my parents still live in the woods & I entirely missed that. So I just purchased an seasoned hunting lake house that is just under more than one hours out of the city. It’s on 12 acres of land that backs into federally protected forrest. It’s perfection. But I did have to add a pair of ductless heat pumps to that seasoned lake house among other renovations, and otherwise, I don’t suppose I’d have ever seen our spouse out there. She enjoyed the idea of having a lake house in the woods. But she wanted modern residential Heating & A/C, superb home office appliances, a superb bed, satellite wi-fi & some better furnishings. I ran tests on all of that & I’m particularly impressed with the quality heating & air that I get from the ductless heat pumps.
