This summer has been the best as life gets back to normal across the country. The 2020 Covid pandemic put a damper on things and we’ve barely done any traveling in the last 2 years. Life has been hard since I got Covid, but we are all healthy and happy now which is the best feeling ever. Since we’d not been anywhere in such a long time, we planned a long road trip in a camper van covering many states. The camper van was a rental from a local dealership and we made sure it was well serviced. One of the main things I had checked was the air conditioning. No one wants to ever be stuck in a camper van in the middle of nowhere in a campervan with no air conditioning. Our first week of traveling was great and we all loved the efficient air conditioning that kept the interior comfortable. However, as the days got hotter, we kept relying more on the air conditioning to keep us cool. I guess running the AC 24/7 took a toll on it because it stopped working in the middle of the second week. Lucky for us we had packed 2 portable ACs. These powerful mobile cooling systems kept us cool until we found a repair shop that could fix the faulty camper van AC. The mechanic who fixed the air conditioning advised us to alternate between using the AC in the camper van and portable ACs since we still had a long trip ahead. Otherwise, we might end up without any air conditioning after some time.
