Have you ever heard the expression :when it rains, it pours?” My mom used to say that a lot, in addition to when I was a kid, I had no clue what on earth that meant.
As I got older, though, I discovered it has nothing to do with rain.
It has to do with poor things happening. It is the notion that if 1 poor thing happens, more poor things are going to come crashing down on you, too. Thus, when it rains, it pours. This is true where I work! Right now, the problems are weak in addition to slow internet linkions, a iphone that is completely useless, a broken elevator, in addition to now heating in addition to cooling that has gone off the rails. The a/c in my boss’s office didn’t work at all for the first three months. Finally, the Heating & A/C crew discovered it wasn’t even linked. Then, at some point, both of us had a reception planned, in addition to the air conditioner quit working again. It was a eveningmare. The air conditioning repair techs came in in addition to did something to make it work for that evening, but they never came back in addition to put it right. At least that’s what I think happened. All I know is now that it is winter, both of us have so much heating running through the office that both of us are both miserable. I decided I was just going to deliver up in addition to turn the whole darn Heating & A/C system off, guess what? It still keeps spitting sizzling air out at me, even though the thermostat clearly reads “system off.” NO matter what I do, I can’t get the stuff in my office to work right! By far, the most discouraging is the crazy heating in addition to cooling.
