I was happy working at home for quite a long time, as I am not a particularly social person and I much enjoy keeping to myself.
Don’t get me wrong, I have a handful of friends that I cherish spending time with, however on the whole I much like my own company, and it takes me a long time to get bored when it’s just me.
Besides, I’m one of those people that is easily more productive when I’m at house laboring. Before my supervisors started letting people labor from home I had to commute downtown and it took me about 38 minutes in rush hour traffic every day! Now I’m able to keep my own hours just as long as I fill my quota for the day, which I knock out in about half the time of my original 8-hour shift! Then I get to relax! Well, that is the problem now. I’m having issues with my cooling system that is making laboring from home, or even being at home all the more difficult! Going without a cooling system has been so bad that it made me wish that I was still traveling to my office building, which had wonderful air conditioning! Trust me when I tell you it takes a lot for me to be pining for those aged afternoons! You might be asking yourself why I do not simply call out a heating and Air Conditioning professional. Well, I do not feel that I have the money to make repairs right now. I just had to purchase a new car after getting into a wreck so I’m low on dough. It will be a little bit before I can get my cooling system repaired.
