Believe me, I was so ready to get back inside the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning of the office after being cooped up at my apartment while in the worst of the pandemic. Being at the apartment was a real eye opener to just how good I had it at work. For years though, I was constantly complaining about the office and the politics and the needless interruptions. So I sort of went into toiling remotely from the central air conditioning luxury of my apartment excitedly. I particularly thought that I’d be able to get more work done since I didn’t have to deal with stuff in the office. What I wasn’t counting on was the fact that I would be dealing with all the stuff that goes on inside the air conditioning of my own home. It was not good to say the least. My nice friend and I were all trying to find space and privacy to toil or do school remotely. The tension was often quite high because, as a family we weren’t exactly accustomed to spending all of our time together. I tried to get everyone outside of the air conditioning each day for a walk or a kickball game or something, and that helped indeed. But it was the Heating and Air Conditioning upgrade that I had done which particularly made some difference when it came to having peace inside our home. I had the Heating and Air Conditioning professionals come out and tweak our existing heating and cooling equipment. They were able to do what they needed to do with the HVAC duct in order for us to have zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning. Having 8 heating and cooling zones with independent thermostats particularly did make a big difference. But I was still so ready to get back to that office.
