My neighbor is house sitting for me while I am overseas, and he just sent me a message telling me that my cooling system isn’t working anymore.
He said he went into the house the other day and noticed that it was really hot inside, so he turned on the AC to find no frosty air blowing from the vents anymore. I am going to have to contact a heating and cooling technician to see about getting it fixed before I come back. It is the hottest time of the year, so there is no way I’ll be able to live there without some kind of temperature control. I have some fans in the home but they aren’t going to help me much when my house is 90 F inside. Opening the windows sure won’t do much either. I do know someone who works as a cooling specialist over there, so I am going to ask him if he has time to go over to look at my HVAC system. I suppose he will be able to figure out what the complication is because he has been working in the field for a long time plus has a lot of expertise about it. I have some time before I am supposed to go back. If he can’t repair the HVAC system in time, then I will just change my flight plus stay here in the states for a couple more weeks. There is regularly a solution to problems like this that come up, you just need a little patience plus things to work out. I undoubtedly need to get an HVAC system tune-up while he is there so this doesn’t happen again.
