I Like to Try and Eat a Salad Every Day

One of the best habits I have created for myself is eating a salad every single day.

The best way to do this is to make a big salad and store it in a tupperware container, that way you have to eat it within a few days or all of your time and energy spent making it will be tossed in the garbage can. It puts a little bit of pressure on me to eat it before it goes bad. I also make a smoothie for breakfast. It’s very simple; kefir, frozen mixed berries, and walnuts. You should try it. I thaw the berries in front of my heater for about 45 minutes and blend them up with a handful of walnuts and a bottle of milk kefir. I like kefir more than yogurt because it has more probiotics and bacteria strains in it. My HVAC technician friend Billy turned me on to the smoothies years ago when I told him how tired I was of juicing every day. Juicing is great for you but there is so much waste and you don’t get any of the fiber that smoothies offer. I am going to have Billy come over one day soon and do an HVAC tuneup for me. He owes me one after saving his dog from drowning one day in the sea. It swam out too far to get a ball and some waves took it under, I saved it just in time while Billy was busy cleaning up his dog mess. Afterall, we are all here to help each other out, right?
