I got sick a lot last year and I think it was because of the old filters, no more colds this year.
My friends are already on the beach playing paddleball. Well, I think they are my friends! They all speak Spanish, so trying to talk to them is a bit tricky. I’ve been studying Spanish for over five years but still can’t understand a lot of what they say when they are talking. The problem is that they talk so fast and don’t pronounce the words clearly, so for me it is very difficult to understand. I’ll master it one day but it is going to take a few more years I reckon. My brain doesn’t take in information as fast as before. I have a new heating unit that is really putting out the heat in my flat. They had to replace the old one because it just wasn’t doing the job anymore. I think the unit was about 20 years old and those older air conditioners of the 90s are not so efficient in today’s standards. My landlord footed the bill and I’m sure it wasn’t very cheap but it needed to be replaced. This new unit has a built-in HEPA filter, which is nice, considering the old unit had those old throwaway filters that didn’t really filter out much of the dust. I try to keep the air quality good in my flat because I noticed when it was poor I was getting a lot of allergies and colds. The body doesn’t like a bunch of toxins entering it. Keep it clean.
