Staying Warm Around Hot-Natured Friends and Family

I am hot natured.

That means I tend to be hot most of the time.

I am happiest when I have my air conditioning thermostat set low. Even during the winter months, I keep the thermostat set low. In fact, right now I have my central heating and cooling set to the heating portion. But I keep the thermostat set on 58. 58 is considered very cold to most people, and in fact I admit it is cold. Even so, I prefer to save costs on my heating by keeping my thermostat set low in the winter. I simply use blankets and sweaters. I keep a soft comfortable blanket on my bed at night and I wrap up in it. Other people are cold-natured. Cold-natured people prefer to keep their thermostats set higher. If a cold natured person marries a hot natured person they will always be fighting over the AC. It can be quite comical. I have known people who will go over and change the thermostat setting by 4 or 5 degrees and hope their spouse doesn’t notice. Of course the spouse is going to notice! If you want to be a little bit more comfortable, you should change the cooling or Heating temperature by only two degrees. Your significant other is likely to notice that. My daughter is quite cold-natured. Over Thanksgiving it became obvious. I was constantly warm but she was wearing a sweater. In fact, I asked my brother if I could turn his air conditioning a bit colder and just about everyone in the room gave me the side-eye.
