Turning the old barn into a destination wedding hall with a new dual fuel system

When my dad passed on, God bless his soul, he left me his 10-acre piece of land.

The land accommodated a beautiful old colonial home with an old barn.

We also farmed a few crops and herded a few farm animals including cattle, pigs, goats, sheep, and donkeys. The land provides scenic views and when one is in the barn, you get a chance to see the sunrise and sunset which is amazing. Since I live in the city and have made a life there as an HVAC professional, I was not looking to move to the farm soon. I decided to renovate the barn into a destination wedding hall. The renovations included getting new heating equipment since it was always freezing in the empty barn. There was a ductless heat pump in the house. The ductless HVAC was still functionally providing quality heating. Dad had been committed to the required annual furnace/heater tune-ups which were what had kept the unit in prime condition to date. I visited the heating contractor at the local homeowner solutions, who recommended a dual fuel system. After a day, the HVAC supplier delivered the new electric furnace and the heating technicians put it up within a day. I was surprised to see that part of the heat pump service includes cleaning up after any job they do at a customer’s residence. Any marrying couple would have enjoyed the scenery and the prices were affordable. During summer, we would come to the house and use it as our vacation home. The experts from the heating business were able to install and run the new heating equipment within a few days. Within a few weeks, we had gotten our first customer who said they had never seen such beautiful grounds.
