During the winter my home gets really cold.
My heater works great and I am lucky to have a great HVAC system that has never failed me.
However, sometimes I get in the habit of turning my heat down in the evenings and then leaving before I turn it back up. That means that when I get home from work, I am usually freezing. I always wish I could have the ability to turn up my heat in the winter, from wherever I am. That’s what I need a smart thermostat. I could program it to turn up and down when I want and if I decide to change it and turn the HVAC system on while I’m gone, I can do it from my phone. I wouldn’t have to worry about coming home from working and seeing my breath when I walk in the door or trying to get warmed up while I’m waiting on my heater to do its thing. I plan on having my local HVAC technician install my smart thermostat and show me how to set it up on my phone. Once it’s set up, I will be able to use it from anywhere. I won’t have to worry about my home getting too hot or cold or worry that my pets might be uncomfortable while I’m gone. I am also excited to see how much money it saved me on my energy bills once I start using it regularly. I think everyone should have a smart thermostat connected to their HVAC unit.
