Deep HVAC

Each spring, I’m reminded of just how amazing it is that I get to live right where I do. It’s nothing short of magnificent actually. And having a spring like this is like the bonus round after the perfect winter time weather we get each year. There’s just enough freezing snaps to require a bit of effort from the heat pump. That’s about the depths of our winter. Again, I’m so grateful to live where I do because as if that’s not enough, then my friend and I get this sort of Springtime. Spring starts out great, colorfully, with everything in bloom. We get to enjoy that right into May, before the heat and humidity get ratcheted to a level that needs air conditioning all day. That happens here for sure. But my friend and I are fortunate to have quality heating and cooling technology to manage that level of oppressive heat. In our house, I know we’re going to be able to count on this heat pump for as long as my friend and I live here. That’s saying a lot since we’re in our late 30’s. But the fact we have a geothermal heat pump makes it actually possible that my friend and I won’t need to update our HVAC until we’re in our 70s. By that point, we will live somewhere smaller. With a geo heat pump, not only do you get the best efficiency on the market, but the longevity is a significant improvement over traditional heat pumps. That means that we’ll be saving on air conditioner costs for a long time.
