I don’t honestly know why I even try with my grandma at this point. she has to be the most difficult human being who has ever existed on this planet. If you think that I’m exaggerating, you just haven’t met her yet. Even my mother, who is the most patient kind and understanding human on earth, cannot take Grandma anymore. She’s basically offloaded her duties to the grandkids because it’s too exhausting. I understand where she’s coming from, but I don’t think I can do it either. My grandma is just a piece of work. Recently she’s been harassing all of her grandkids about how uncomfortable she feels everyday. She says that she’s too hot or too cold all the time, and she just can’t figure out how to keep living this life. It’s a really dramatic stance to take. We keep going over to her house and trying to fix up her HVAC system so that she has better control over her indoor air temperature, but nothing seems to be working. That’s why we decided to install a smart thermostat once and for all. We figured we can set up a logical automatic program for her to keep her Heating and Cooling under control. Then she has nothing to worry about. Just to make sure that she doesn’t use the thermostat for more evil, we’ve also set up a passcode so she can’t actually alter the indoor air conditions herself.
