I don’t know if I really wanted to be the mom of the village. But it appears that’s the way it turned out. When my husband and I obtained this house, it was with raising our family in mind. We walked into a turn key situation as our home had been renovated expansively. There was a new kitchen, deck, flooring as well as the latest in residential Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C. So my friend and I got right to making a family. It’s funny how being traditional in some sense seems so aged. That’s kind of how I feel about being a stay at home mom. For sure, when my friend and I chose to have a family, I knew that I wanted no part of being a mom and inside some commercially climate-controlled office. When it comes to that sort of load, I know my limitations. I love being a mom, and being around kids. As our kids have grown inside the central air conditioner of our home, other moms will count on me when they are in a jam. That’s nice because we have a finished basement that we use as a generously-sized playroom. Well, there have been times where I had like a dozen kids downstairs! That’s nice because they’re all well mannered as well as they stay busy. But it got to the point that my husband had the professionals install a ductless heat pump in the basement. Along with a safe place to be, we wanted to be sure we were also offering great quality heating and air cooling. The ductless heat pump has turned that playroom into a comfortable spot with a great air conditioner.
