Relaxing with some heating in the office

I am listening to some classic and nice Alan Watts advice about life, and it is making me wonder if I am even living life the right way with all the yoga and meditation I do.

  • He simply questions the need for any of it and makes you wonder why to try doing anything.

He is also telling us to just do things for the sake of doing them and stop trying to do things. It’s pretty heavy stuff and makes you wonder about the whole racket of life itself, so I think it is about just being and not doing, however my a/c needed to be cleaned and I kept putting it off because simply cleaning heating and A/C systems is my task and I don’t like doing it in my free time. But if I just did it and didn’t feel whether I liked it or not it wouldn’t seem like such a hard thing, it would just be doing stuff with my hands and body. Cleaning a washable HEPA filter isn’t that treacherous of a thing to do, but if you feel about how awful it is while doing it then it will seem bad. I also feel it boils down to not judging anything my associate and I have to do but just doing it without thinking how good or awful it is to you. My residential heating and A/C tech task can be pretty mundane after 30 years in the same field, but if I clean a ductwork system while listening to some tunes that entertains me then maybe it won’t seem so bad. I’m just thinking out loud this afternoon, do not mind me.
