The dog was eating bugs flying from the air vent.

I sat in the living room watching my dog jumping up in the air.

I yelled out and told my son to quit picking on the dog, but he was just coming down the steps.

After getting up, I headed out to the kitchen to see why the dog was jumping so wildly. Ask me what grosses me out more than anything else? It’s bugs in my house. There were bugs flying out of the air vent, and my dog was jumping up to catch and eat them. I chased the dog out to his fenced-in play area, and called the HVAC company and an exterminator. I wanted to get rid of the bugs that were in my house. I didn’t care what they were, or how they got there; bugs did not belong in my house. An hour later, the exterminator called and told me he could be at the house the next morning. In the meantime, since I don’t need air conditioning right now, I should put something over the air vents to keep more bugs from coming out. Ten minutes after I hung up, the HVAC company called back. I told them about the bugs in the air vent, my dog jumping up to eat them, and how I called the exterminator. I wanted them to know the bugs would be taken care of in the morning, but I needed my ductwork cleaned, repaired, and sanitized. They sent an HVAC crew to the house the following week, when the exterminator determined all the bugs were dead. I never once asked what kind of bugs they were, as long as they were dead bugs.
